The image is organized around a series of upright, tapering black trunks that bifurcate and loop along the lower edge, from which an intricate system of hairline curves ascends and fans outward in all directions. These linear pathways, drawn in closely spaced bands of turquoise, vermilion, lemon yellow, and muted greens, articulate a rhythmic flow that shifts density as it moves from the grounded base toward the more diffuse upper register. Large, flat discs of cerulean, ultramarine, rose, and apricot punctuate the lattice of lines, at times resting within the branching structures and at times hovering slightly apart, producing a measured tension between containment and dispersal. The pale ivory field allows the colored circuits and nodes to read as both diagram and arbor-like growth, aligning the work’s title with a sense of accumulation, ripening, and branching outcomes distributed across a shared structural spine.
