Fruition
Two symmetrical, tree-like black forms rise from a shared base, their branching lines terminating in oval and circular color fields that cluster across a pale ground.
About the work
The composition is organized around a central axis where two dark, trunk-like forms expand outward into a network of branching tendrils, which in turn anchor an array of ovoid and circular shapes in calibrated reds, blues, violets, and greens. These chromatic nodes hover slightly apart from the black armature, encircled by fine linear halos that register subtle shifts in scale and pressure, so that the eye moves rhythmically from one cluster to the next. The pale ground functions as a continuous field in which the branching lines trace pathways reminiscent of vascular or arboreal structures, establishing a measured tension between fluid, organic curves and the more stable, rounded discs. The title “Fruition” quietly inflects the reading of these repeated forms as points of culmination or ripening along an intricate, branching system, where color and line together articulate growth, bifurcation, and balance across the surface.
