Interlocking, elongated ovoid forms in graded hues of red, orange, yellow, blue, and green are suspended within a pale field, connected by fine linear strands that create a lattice-like structure.
About the work
The composition is organized as a loose grid of vertical columns in which bulbous, vessel-like forms stretch and taper, their contours traced by overlapping, hairline curves that accumulate into denser nodal cores of near-black. Color progresses rhythmically from warm reds and oranges at the left through violets and deep blues to greens and pale yellows at the right, with each hue contained yet subtly bleeding along shared boundaries, suggesting permeability between adjacent units. Negative space, rendered as an unmodulated, light ground, punctuates the structure with irregular voids that counterbalance the denser, central spines and keep the overall arrangement in a state of poised asymmetry. The repeated, necked shapes and their filamentary connections evoke a networked system in which each segment appears distinct yet continuously inflected by its neighbors, quietly echoing the work’s title through visual interdependence and flow.
