Fructify

The composition is anchored by a vertical, cruciform black structure that expands into rounded lobes, from which elongated droplets and pods extend horizontally and diagonally, generating a sense of outward pressure. Within and around this dark armature, saturated zones of orange, yellow, turquoise, blue, magenta, red, and lime green are held in smooth, capsule-like enclosures that contrast sharply with the pale, densely inscribed ground. Concentric rings and fine linear tracings ripple across the surface, knitting the negative space into a shallow, vibrating field that visually links the dispersed forms. The branching, almost arbor-like configuration, combined with the clustered, seed-like nodes of color, suggests a quiet analogy to growth and ripening implied by the title, while maintaining a strictly abstract play of balance, rhythm, and spatial expansion across the square format.
