Cold Comfort

3 works

Cold Comfort moves through temperature like a held breath. Translucent, bulb-like forms — circles and pods — are arranged within a faint rectilinear grid, their colours migrating from warm reds and ambers toward cool greens and blues across the surface. Fine web-like lines lace the forms together on a pale cream ground, so that the whole reads as a single, slow exhalation of colour from warmth into chill.

Mid-century in feeling and biomorphic in form, the three works find comfort precisely in their restraint — overlapping cells that glow without ever shouting. The effect is coolly contemplative, more meditation than statement. Offered as limited-edition giclée prints on museum-quality cotton paper, Cold Comfort brings a soft, considered palette to a contemporary interior — abstract wall art for a quiet wall.
