Strangled Fruits

Strangled Fruits is the studio at its most uneasy. Four irregular dark verticals divide a warm off-white field, and from them teardrop, oval, and bulb forms in cadmium red, ultramarine, chrome yellow, and green hang or swell outward. Each is encircled by delicate filaments that radiate like starbursts and knot at the verticals, so the pods appear supported and constricted by the same lines. Small interior dots read as seeds, while the denser black and red shapes at the lower edge pull a diagonal against the strict vertical rhythm. Biomorphic and surrealism-adjacent, issued as a limited-edition giclée print on museum-grade cotton paper.
