Stolen Life

Stolen Life is a diagram of connection and interruption. Bulbous branching forms radiate from a dark central axis across an ivory ground, their contours swelling and tapering like vessels under pressure; jet-black lobes anchor the corners and lower edge, counterweighted by magenta, cobalt, golden yellow, and a concentric orange-and-vermillion oval pressing outward at the margin. Hairline grooves thread the surface in concentric and meandering paths, knitting the forms together while quietly disturbing the space between them.
