Protoplasm of Venus suspends a body in the process of forming. A roughly square mass of circles shifts from burnt orange at the left through cadmium red to ultramarine at the centre and right, the discs varying in size and opacity, some partially eclipsing others, so the surface oscillates between flat grid and cellular field. Around this core, fine black lines radiate outward like spikes, compressing at the corners and thinning at the sides, while small rectilinear marks and cross-like signs interrupt the flow and hint at an underlying scaffold. Planetary or bodily, held in suspension. A limited-edition giclée print on museum-grade cotton paper.
