Neo Orphic

Neo-Orphic contains one work, Homage to an Homage, and the doubled title is the point. Inside a matte black square, broad looping bands and nested ovoids in cadmium red, chrome yellow, ultramarine, emerald, and burnt orange press against one another, each curve cutting into or capping the next. Negative space is reduced to slim intervals of black that sharpen every edge and raise the pressure. Shapes and colour pairings restate each other across the surface, one configuration continually rephrased within the same confined plane — Orphist rhythm, restaged under compression. Issued as a limited-edition giclée print on museum-grade cotton paper.
