Limpidity

1 work

Limpidity treats clarity not as emptiness but as the ability to follow a form through change. Broad bands of colour bend, nest, and cross while retaining their distinct edges, turning the picture into a set of visible currents. Each contour carries its own weight and direction, yet remains intelligible within the larger flow, so density and lucidity coexist rather than cancel one another.

In Limpidity #1, a dark outer arc holds successive channels of blue, green, cobalt, and pale yellow against a deep teal field. Smaller pools gather at the lower left while a red ribbon sweeps across the foreground and rises along the right edge, introducing a second, more forceful direction. The work establishes the series’ central tension: layered movement made clear enough that every interval can still be read.

  1. Nested bands of navy, blue, green, cream, yellow, violet, and red curl diagonally across a deep teal field, gathering into rounded pools and sweeping arcs.
