Golgi
1 workGolgi explores the relation between a continuous contour and the chambers it encloses. Elongated forms swell, narrow, and fold around small pools of colour, borrowing the suggestion of cellular organisation without becoming anatomical diagrams. The spaces between the forms are as active as the shapes themselves: channels that separate one structure from another while carrying a shared rhythm through the field.
In Intimations of Golgi, teal and deep crimson columns rise against black, their edges traced in pale gold. Circular nodes gather along the columns, while amber discs interrupt the cooler central band and the darker red flanks. The arrangement holds together through these exchanges of curve and colour, suggesting an internal architecture seen in fragments.
