Birth of Edmund is the studio's origin story told in colour. Interlocking vertical bands — deep blue, pink, green — rise across a pale field, carrying clusters of circular forms in saturated reds, oranges, and yellows upward like cells dividing into something new. The mood is unmistakably buoyant: a composition about emergence, about a self assembling itself out of pure chromatic energy.
Where much of the studio's work is contemplative, this small series is openly joyful — colour-field abstraction with the lightness of a beginning. The two pieces share a square format and a sense of upward motion, biomorphic forms held in a buoyant calm. Each is available as a limited-edition giclée print on museum-quality cotton paper: a bright, optimistic abstract work, and a fitting place to begin a collection.
