Windows of Perception #1 arranges a strict grid of vertical rectangles, each holding a rounded, tablet-like form set slightly off-centre or nested within its cell. Nearly black dividing lines supply the architecture; planes of cobalt, cadmium red, mustard, pale pink, teal, and ivory press against one another and occasionally overlap in translucent layers that complicate the apparent flatness. Repetition with variation does the rest — shifts in scale, curvature, and saturation move the eye laterally and down. Each compartment functions as a discrete aperture.
