A loose vertical grid of circular nodes in saturated yellows, reds, greens, blues, and violets is suspended on a warm, off-white field, each circle edged and veined with dark filaments that stretch outward to tether it to neighboring forms. The circles vary subtly in scale and chromatic intensity, with deeper hues tending toward the center and lighter or smaller discs edging the perimeter, so that color seems to thicken and thin as it moves through the composition. The connecting lines, sometimes taut and sometimes sagging into arcs, weave a mesh that suggests both structural support and delicate tension, pulling the eye along irregular pathways rather than strict rows. Negative space flows between these connections, creating soft, almost atmospheric intervals where the pale ground seeps through, while occasional faint silhouettes and halos around certain circles introduce a sense of afterimage or echo. The work balances geometric repetition with organic distortion, evoking a lattice of interconnected points that quietly aligns with the associative, neural connotations of the title.
